Ehh that depends on who you ask. The Celeron always boasts these "huge" Ghz performances but they never really live up to those because measuring by Ghz alone now-a-days is crazy. I guess you have to look up the benchmarks of an AMD chip vs. a Pentium chip to see what I mean. Plus, guys back me up here, the Celeron cpus run hotter too. Just trust me on this one. Don't get fooled by the Ghz math and instead get a lower end P4 or AMD chip which will 9/10 run faster and cooler than a Pentium.

If you want, ask everybody on here what chip they use. If ANYONE uses a Celeron for gaming or large amounts of programs I would be highly surprised.

Bottom line, Celeron processors are cheap for a reason...

i never really understood where the celerons fit in. The celerons must be good for SOMETHING.. right?
