1. What is your total budget?
2. What will you be using this computer for? Everything right there looks compatible. No hard drive? O and if you are getting a DVD burner, then you dont need a DVD-ROM.

Whel, yeah he needs a hard drive, dont know how that got forgotton.
If you meant to put the dvd-rom and dvd-rw on there, I guess you want to be able to put in a dvd, and burn directly to another? This is alogical explanation, but if not than I agree there is no use. Id go with like a 120-250 gig hard drive. I was looking at a 300 gig, but either way their not amazingly expensive but if you arnt looking to store lots of stuff, 120 should be safe. ir realy does depend on what your doing. I see you also have 2 gigs of ram. I assume this is for some gaming. If its not a computor thats gonna be playing games, or high end programs and stuff, 2 gigs might be to much . . .you think? I see how this could be used for games or something becasue you do have a $400 graphics card. Im guessing its for music, watching movies, and playing games. If you like to listen to a lot of music, why not upgrade your sound card as well, as long as your budget allows.

And I forgot to put the hard drive on there because I'm not buying one, a friend that works at a computer parts company is giving me a 400gig hitatchi HD. Ill be getting a Creative X-FI sound card as soon as my budget allows it, as I do listen to a lot of music. |

I thought dual cores did nothing for gaming because they are multi-threaded, and games are written for single threads. What motherboard should I get if I want a dual core AMD? Would that really be the best bet for gaming? Also how do you compare speeds, because intels are always just listed in GHZ and I always see AMD as something like 2000+2GHZ or something

2. A dual core AMD is better for gaming than a single core Intel, im pretty sure. 3. You cant compare GHZ speeds when it comes to AMD and Intel. 4. This is a very good AMD motherboard for cheaper than the one you have selected: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131540

Ive seen power supplies that say SLI, do crossfires need a special type also? |

also are you sure you want to go SLi i myself think SLI is just a money hole to begin with, one nice card like the one you have selected will do fine and u can save money on motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131584 this motherboard is nice, and since u are getting a radeon card u may want to buy it because it is crossfire.
