Hey guys, my new Sony computer has on three occassions restarted itself and gave me a message when it started back up that says: Windows has recovered from a serious error. When I send the error message to Microsoft, it says a device driver has caused Windows to do a "stop error." which forces the computer to restart itself. Now, the only thing I have installed on this computer that is not factory is my Linksys wireless card.
Does anyone know how this error occurs, or what I can do to stop it. Thanks. |

Get the updated driver and it may not restart on you. (wireless card)

BTW, I'm talking about XP. So basically what I'm saying is to make sure you have all the service packs installed.
