Default PC Halo Combat Evolved problem.

Does any one play halo on the pc? When I play halo, the pistol of the gun shoots? But sometime the sound shoots and stops. It does it one sec each time. Does anyone know why? Please let me know.

Edit: I also tried updating it and it says "Its up to date." I also tried repair it too.

do you mean that, when you go to full automatic, the sound laggs behind the shots fired? I think thats just because the sound can't replay fast enough.
