I love windows Vista, but it has some flaws.
First, i am running it on an older machine, and i can't change the resolution to compensate for the horrible video card. Also, it will not recognize any speakers i plug in. Otherwise, Vista runs great. If you can solve any of these problems please respond! |

Well, the reason its not working is because its Vista.
Vista will only run certain Vid Cards and support certain software/hardwares only. Your inability to not install the right firmware is probably because Vista does not support it yet. You will probably have to leave it that way or go back to XP
