where abouts in NY are you? i live 40 min away from frozencpu. you can maybe take it to soyata, but i'm not sure if i trust those guys.

build it yourself. it seems like you don't know much about what you're doing, (i don't mean that to be rude) i think that if you read about it a little bit you might save yourself quite a bit of cash, and possibly aggrivation - who knows, maybe even a couple of graphics cards.

are you running raid at all? why 3 HDD's?

back to the cpu for a minute, why do you want that one?
he's right... first of all what you need 4 video cards for ? 1 will do anything you want...

AMD Athlon 64 FX60 Toledo
1 raptor 76gb and other 2 hd's 300gb seagate sata (about $120 each)
2gb of ram (get 4gb if you can blow the cash)
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
you dont need 1000W power supply, get 550W power supply for like $150
1 GeForce 7900 GTX EXTREME
Creative Sound Blaste
LG dvd cdr burner for like $50

you will save more then half, and wont see any difference between this or what you configured

7 G's (7 Thousand Dollors) without monitor - that's a lot of money

I don't see what you're going to gain by spending that much on a CPU or a whole computer for that matter.

I spent about $1,700 - $1,800 for everything....keyboard, mouse....everything that you need to make a computer work, including a 20" widescreen high definition monitor. Mine isn't set up for harcore gamming but it wouldn't take much get it there. At absolute most I think (with mine - if I was going to set it up for gamming) I'd upgrade to (2) 7800's in SLI and possibly run some sort of a RAID setup.

If you're that concerned with making an easy gamming machine and you don't want to read up on how to build it or learn about what you're doing, buy an Xbox.

Also, as of Oct. '05 Nvidia didn't support 4 graphics cards, which is the chipset for that Motherboard, not sure about if it does now. And if I understand correctly, you won't be able to run them in SLI at all, so without having at least 4 Monitors, it won't do you any good. However, if you DO have four monitors, you stll could run 2 cards and hook them up to 4 monitors.

High price doesn't mean good computer.
