Default Graphics driver problems

I've tried 4 different drivers (3 ATi, 1 Omega) and none have worked properly (I did uninstall the previous drivers each time). Some operate as if it was the windows driver (like when you uninstall your graphics driver and dont install a new one) and others fragment etc.

I have a X850XT agp and Windows XP SP2.

I don't think the card is overheating, and it is new. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the latest update for the Radeon line? If you have already done that one idea here would be to submit a support ticket. https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...e&folderID=293 An automatic response comes fast with about a day wait for tech support. If you haven't tried the latest go to: https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...e&folderID=293 to grab the Catalyst 6.4 bundle.

Thanks. Yes I have tried 6.4, that is one that just acts like it is not even installed. On the start up screens for windows there are strange blue lines and I can't play any 3D games.

My problem is that each driver I use seems to have a fault with it like some I can't play games with, on some, icons dissapear, and on some, the screen fragments.

I think 1.1.4322.573 is my .NET framework but I'm not sure.

I ran all the tests and no errors were found.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Could it be a faulty card? A program which is stopping the driver from working properly?
