if you add a song to your library does it put it onto the ipod and if you delete a song does it wipe it off the ipod?
On itunes i dont think you can delete songs or change files, you change them in the library and then it updates the ipod itself. |

if you have your ipod on the setting where it automaticly updates when you plug it into your computer i think you get the "greyed out" songs when you go to your ipod tag... i think if you update it manually you can access them... i would test it and find out but my iPod has just broken for the 3rd or 4th time.....
