if you add a song to your library does it put it onto the ipod and if you delete a song does it wipe it off the ipod?

On itunes i dont think you can delete songs or change files, you change them in the library and then it updates the ipod itself.

if you have your ipod on the setting where it automaticly updates when you plug it into your computer i think you get the "greyed out" songs when you go to your ipod tag... i think if you update it manually you can access them... i would test it and find out but my iPod has just broken for the 3rd or 4th time.....
