Unless you have a conect3d X800GTO, there are no pipes to unlock on that card.

I heard that it IS possible to unlock PRO's pipes..I happen to have Connect 3D X800PRO BUT there is one problem though...

We were testing another CPU in my friend's computer and we took that MOLEX thingy off that card (X800PRO) just for minute and then we put it back in its original place and then when we turned his computer on, it started that beeping and there was text on monitor that said something like this: YOUR CARD ISN'T GETTING ENOUGH POWER. CONNECT MOLEX or something like that..

What in world happened to that card?

Well, if it's possible, then you'll have to do a bios flash. I believe you flash it to the x800xl or something bios, where all 16 pipelines enabled. But make sure your card can run it at the higher core/mem clocks.

try unconnecting the molex and reconnecting it again.

But if possible look at what your cards memory chips say. Cause some X800GTO cards have the same memory used in X800XT's. And in the best case scenario you could take off the cooling and look what core the GPU is.

well it really won't hurt if the card is unlockable, cause the pipelines just won't work and he can reflash back if he wants.

Or a Sapphire X800GTO², there are different cores, R423 (130nm), R430 (110nm) and R480 (130nm)

If you are unlucky you can also get a shitty 2.0ns memory instead of the 1.6ns
