Default Fan Noise

I have a toshiba laptop. Every once in a while while i am on it (once every 10 min or so) the fan will kick on and make a really loud buzzing noise. It will last maybe a minute or so and then stop making the loud noise. Does anyone have any ideas wat may be causing the fan to do this?

Cooling it down?

I have a Toshiba also. And the fans just kicks in every once in a while depending on what I am doing to keep it as cool as possible.

However, it can also be a defect.. what type of Laptop is it specifically.. maybe you can search on that on google and see if the problem is evident on that model.. or not
