Default simple question about start-up programs...

somereason whenever i start up windows, the windows messager program loads up too...i ran "msconfig" but i dont know which program i am supposed to take the check off of...(u know how all the programs have weird names in msconfig)

so which should i check for windows messanger to stop coming up?

If you have XP SP2 you can go to add and remove program-Windows Components and remove it

If its the one that comes preinstalled.. you can use the tweaks here.

It also lists several other options for you too.

But basically, unchecking it in msconfig will do the trick.

U can also disable running the msn from the MSN messenger itself , using tools options,..
