The benchmarks I saw showed the single x1900xt out performing a 512 7800gtx, but the 2 x1900xt in crossfire mode performed behind the 512 7800gtx in SLI.

if you get 2 of these and make them work as crossfire, it would be amazing
you would have to get one of those and one X1900 Crossfire edition, which has the X1900XT clock speeds I believe.

Im not saying that they perform better, but i would rather have that card.
I would much rather buy the best card for the buck. Whether that is ATi or Nvidia. But that of course is just me using common sense again .

i read somewhere that the crossfire has the potential to be good as if not better than SLI but its still new and Nvidia has had SLI longer which is why Nvidia has the upper hand in the dual card area.

Nvidia is better...i think they have really taken over the graphics industry ATM and ATI is trying to play catchup as we are seeing with their new line. As linking two cards SLI is still better then Crossfire since crossfire still needs time to develop and work its way onto more mobos

I think that Crossfire is better than SLI.

Anyways, i just wanted to tell everyone that if your considering getting an x800GTO, get it! The one i have overclocks very good, right now i have the core at 560Mhz, 400Mhz Stock. The highest i've gotten so far on stock cooling is 560/1130, 400/980 stock.
