So true,i used to use Nvidia...but as you can see in my sig,i switched over to ATI.For me,it simply comes down to price to performance ratio, and this card was noticibly better than its rival 6800GT and Ultra models and at a way cheaper price.

just wondering why most video games promote nvidia, they even have video of nvidia when the game start. I have Nvidia on my old PC and ATI Radion on the second, Both seems OK. no problems

ATI is too expensive right now for what I need. I play BF2 and get stellar performance out of my BFG Nvidia 7900 OC 256 MB PCI express card. Got it for only $220

Now I'm staying with NVidia, I have a GeForce6150 integrated video, and I think that is the best choice for low-priced non-game computer. (btw with my GeForce6150 I can play NFS:MostWanted medium details, I think it's great for its price)

Nvidia for me has just become a brand I trust. ATI could be my next card. I just haven't heard or seen anything significant enough to make the jump. Now that AMD has bought out ATI I'm half expecting something more out of ATI in the future. Just like AMD caught and surpassed Intel in some areas when I used to only trust Intel and now my last three CPU's have been AMD. I might end up preferring ATI in the future.

i chose ati, but i haven't had an nvidia card since my old geforce4. that was several cards ago. i may try nvidia next upgrade though.

i read an article in maximum pc magazine about nvidia getting caught "cooking it's drivers to reduce detail and even prevent parts of the benchmark from being rendered". nvidia called the tweaks "optimizations", but when they were removed, the card did horribly. they were referring to the geforce fx 5800.

since reading that, in's hard for me to trust them.

i'm going to start a thread about this, for those of you out there that already took this pool and probably won't return to this thread.
