why would you be bothered about how hot a card would be?
True.. a hot card is obviously turning too much power from the supply into heat, but i gues its the results on the screen that would count also.

also, why would you even want to touch a grafic's card just after you turned off the pc?

they suck up 270 Watts per card. Don't think your PSU will even be close to being able to handle it. Neither will mine. Many peoples here cant.
