LMFAO.. no its not.. the 7600 will smoke the X1650 Pro.. besieds.. i bought a X1650 pro for $200... it scored a 1,900 in 3DMark06.. Then I decided to go with Nvidia, got a 7900GTO for $230... now I pull a 6,200 in 3DMark06.. SAME SETTINGS.. $30 more!

So you are saying one card and one benchmark with one benchmark software you have such conclusive evidence?

The models are always comparable, consider price more than model. The high end ATI cards have outperformed Nvidia until the 8 series came out. This can be confirmed easily with a google search.

Not really, Just look at the budget high end category, the 7900GT and the X1950pro. The 7900GT consistently thrashes the X1950pro, I would know because I have a 7900GT and one of my friends have a X1950pro and we benchmarked it together, in the same system to get consistently results. We not only used 3dmark but real games too, and we disregarded results from Doom 3 and Half life 2 because its blatantly obvious that Doom 3 had been optimised for Nividia and HL2 for ATI. We used games like generals and other ones that don't have the "nvidia its meant to be played" logo.

To add further salt to injury, the X1950pro runs hotter and is physically bigger than the 7900GT. So from that I base my opinion that Nvidia is better than ATi at the moment. I also know that the 7600GT thrashes the X1650pro as well, the same goes for the 6600GT to the X800GT.

My Radeon 9250 blows the Nvidia PCI cards out of the water lol who cares about PCI cards? I think right now Nvidia has the best cards out. Like someone else said earlier they are both great companies it just depends on the time. It's kind of like the Olympics, they're all really good, just sometimes one is a little ahead of the other. A couple of years ago ATI was ahead of Nvidia with their 9800 and x800XT. Now the 8800 is the top card without a doubt.

Default Nvidia is my favorit

So far Nvidia cards have been the ones that gave me the least amount of trouble.

Sometimes scientists make things alot harder than they need to. All they've gotta do is put a big spring on the ground where they think it's gonna land, or send a mission to the moon to erect a sign that says "Welcome to Earth".

It depends on which 6800 you are talking about

I don't think that x800GTO can beat 6800GT or 6800ultra

Yeah the X800GTO is a mid range card while the 6800 ultra is aimed at the high end of the market.
