Question Question on SP1 & 2

does service pack 1 and 2 effect in anyway using download software like Ares or Warez? how and in what way please!?

It can since SP2 has a built in firewall, and it may be blocking the program from reaching maximum speed. But it's pretty easy to disable the firewall.
