Ok...someone on this site told me they werent very reliable..but i just got back from my uncles house and he praised USB Wireless Adapters...he has a two story house and the router is in the kitchen and the usb adapter is picking up great signals in the bedrooms in the top...so my questions...have you guys had any experience with USB Wireless Adapters? If so were they good experiences? Any complaints? and would you reccommend it over getting a wireless card for your desktop...thanks

I had an old "pen" addaptor and it was actually pretty good. Dad got one with his router that sets on the table and it has MUCH better reception than my internal wifi card. So, I'm sure it all depends on what brand/model/surroundings there are...
If you must get a wifi card for your desktop, I'd reccomend a PCI card. But, from my experience with the USB one, they are good too.

I have been using my usb wireless G for about a year now and no problem. They do get better reception then those PCI slot/laptop slot ones. I havent heard of them being unreliable ever.
