Double Core!?
hey guys
lately been workin and savin money  rite now im plannin to build something dat is somewhat like a server with 2 CPUS n e suggestions? im also hearin dat intel is releasin a quad core cpu? or is it out alrdy?? for 2 CPUS its only either skt940 opty's and xeons rite? can i get quad core wit 2 dual core cpus? im not really familar wit this so plz help out

Intel will be releasing their quad core CPU's in the first quarter of 2007.
You cannot put 2 dual core CPU's on one monitor and expect it to be "quad-core." It would just be 2 dual cores working simultaneously (sp?). I'd wait if you want 4 cores.

Intel Quad-Core CPUs aren't comming till early next year... i would just get a dual-core processor... unless, what is ur budget?
unless ur spending over 20K, i would just stick to a dual-core processor... |

well i've looked at some pre-built comps at voodoopc.com
and i want to build something that is somewhat like the OMEN OPERTON SLI-GAMER rig something like dat cuz i want 2 CPU's but wats the beneficial of hafin 2 CPU's? how bout da XEON!?
