Hi Everyone, I am a newbie, and I hope someone can answer this question. I have a Dell laptop and I use a Verizon Broadband V620 PC Card to access the internet (no wires required, I just pop the card in and I am connected.)
I have a roomate who also has a laptop, also - she has no internet PC card, but it does have a built in wireless card - and I would like her to share my internet connection. If I purchase a wireless router (like a Linksys), and hook it to my laptop (if possible), is that the solution for us to share the internet connection? I know that wireless routers allow you to share WIRED internet connections between WIRED desktop computers...but will the above scenario work? THANKS FOR ANY HELP! Regards, Rob |
