Question Microsoft word - saving and modifying HELP!

Ok, someone I know has made a word document of an important script and saved it, then gone back on it again and somehow deleted it all and saved it as an empty document (as when exiting word the 'do you want to save the changes' box came up and they clicked yes without realising). Is there any way to get back to the previously saved one?

I've found if you go on file-properties-statistics you can see the dates when it was created/modified/accessed/printed so it must have some memory where it's kept the changes...if you see what I mean.

Any ideas?

Thanks...any help is appreciated

I don't believe there's any way to retreive the file as it stands. Bad news, I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

What you were referring to with the dates for modify/accessed/created etc, they're only registry timestamps which are kept, there's no information about the state of the file when it was last accessed.
