Default Windows boots in Admin account.

Hello,

Does anyone know how I change windows XP from booting into the admin account? I don't know what I have done to change it and can't seem to work out how to change it back. up until last week it booted straight into my general account, the only thing I have changed is the boot order on my linux boot manager so that windows is the default first choice.

Cheers

Mike

The easiest way is to download a tool called TweakUI, which you can find at tweakxp.com and use it to remove the direct boot... to your account.

Do you have seperate accounts? or just one.. is is password protected or not?

Hi,

I have 2 accounts, one under my name and one under Admin. I got this problem from booting into Admin after switching the boot order in my Linux boot manager. I don't use passwords on any of the accounts.
