Is there a program that i can use to view my cpu temp (not motherboard monitor as it overheats my cpu instantly - dunnoo why!?)

When i overclock my barton im scared it will fry what is the likelyhood of this happening?

Depends. Do you live in the artcic? Tropics? In general 60C is the threshold before you should start worrying.

MBM should not do anything ... are you sure its MBM overheating the system or that its detecting the fact that ur system is overheating? (i.e., what makes you think MBM overheats the system)

Temperature isnt what kills the CPU (in 90% of cases). Its the voltage.
