Command(CMD.EXE) Help

When I run windows command (cmd.exe) the following default line preceeds my commands
c:\documents and settings \a>
I have windows xp installed on my computer and "a" is the folder where my account(which itself is named"a") files are saved.
I would like to change the c:\documents and settings\a> to only:
c:\
