Mac OS vs PC OS? Help Please

hi,

for a uni project we have to do an essay on computer fundamentals and although i know most of it i'm having trouble with one aspect.

we're asked to demonstrate "the difference between the Mac operating system and the PC operating system and a critical evaluation of which is better" as well as "look at the speed of the processor and how it performs such functions as the cache and which one has the most efficient memory if one does".

i've looked through all my notes but can't find anything. i've also tried search engines for things like "mac vs pc" etc but still can't find anything.

can anyone point me in the right direction of where i can find some useful information?
