I have another monitor and want to be able to use it at will.
I would also like to be able to use my laptop display and the monitor at the same time. I do alot of cad work and was wondering if I could use a split window accross the 2 monitors thanks, Peter |

If you laptop has an input source like that whic uses the monitor cable.. it should be able to. Like mines, it just plugs in directly.. then you just go into your display properties and expand your desktop to the second one.
It should recognize the monitor.. plug and play.. if you dont.. then you might have to buy an external one or maybe pcmcia.
