Hi....
Sorry...this may be a dumb question.....but I'm typing something up for someone that has a MAC. I have WINDOWS XP and MS WORD 2003 (guessing on the year version). Also a few other programs like ADOBE reader 7. A few publishing things if I look hard enough. Is anything compatible with these two systems? I know...such a newbie question huh?

well if the suggestions were a windows os and a linux os then i would sayu open office.
but considering the options i would like to ask what formats mac uses for word documents, have a look in save settings in the mac and list all the file extensions it says. then from this we can look at windows office programs that save in this format now not sure if this will work but try it. type what you have to in word copy and paste into notpad safe as a html copy to mac and then copy and paste into the word publishing software in mac
