Default HD issues

a while ago my brother accidentally kicked the front of my Dell Optiplex, cause it was on the floor, and he popped the fron cover off, but that went on fine, anyway, now at the Dell screen, it takes like 25-30 secs. 3 get passed that, then i get a message, like press F1 2 continue, and F10 2 enter setup or something, is my HD bad?
