Disgaea 2 Release Date.

Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of the Disgaea 2 (PS2 Game) release date is. I can't find it in my many Magazines, and I'd realllllllly like to know so I can find it while it's still cheap and won't shoot up in price before I get it like the first one. (Damn discontinuation shortly after release.)

Looks like August of this year. I know what you mean about the price hike. I bought a used copy of Disgaea:HoD for $50, but it was worth it. Only a few people will understand this quote...

That game is weird. I watched the first episode of Disgaea in Japanese with subtitles. It starts off differently from the game, but still funny. That space person (Forget his name already) comes in with that chick and the Robot Thursday somewhere in the middle, and Larharl hates the huge breasts, and he gets all nauseues, so he leans up against Flonne, and oddly enough, so his head is at her chest area.
Thursday: "WARNING! WARNING! SEXUAL HARRASSMENT!"
Larharl: "Wow I don't feel sick anymore since you're flat as a board."
Flonne: "Well that good to know!"

Thanks by the way... I paid $60 for mine... and that was NEW. I guess THAt was a deal since Hi-Tech-Game Traders wanted close to $100-$120 for it new and clsoe to $80-90 Pre-played.

I also have Phantom Brave, made by NIS as well... I just need three more by them

-Makai Kingdom
-Disgaea 2.

The game is a Stragegy RPG, with the whole gridded battle system and whatnot. You take on the role of the Overlord of the Netherworlds son, who sets out to take over the Netherworld after his father dies. The sons name is Laharl. I'll look up a link to post about it later.

Is it so expensive because it is an import? Looks interesting, but I don't have a PS2.

It's expensive because it's a kick-ass game that was produced in small quantities. It's really hard to find it anywhere now. It's kind of a sleeper title(good game with little advertising). Oh, I forgot to mention that Tsunami Bomb has one of their songs in the game, Invasion From Within.
