Default recovering administrator password

hi, i wasnt sure where to put this so excuse me if ive posted in the wrong place... anyway i have forgotten my computer administrator password after i had to keep on changin it due to kids hacking in , and i didnt make a password recovery disk. i have windows xp. i have looked on a few sites, and i would like to use the 'emergency boot cd' programme to do this ( a quick search on an internet search engine should find it), although im not exactly very good at computers and havent a clue how to use it! could anyone advise me how to use it please, or anyone has any other suggestions? all comments much appreciated. p.s i am currently using my sons computer!

I belive you can actually boot into safemode and remove the password. But not 100% sure, but give it a try.
