Windows 2k shut down problem
Whenever I shut down my system (running Windows 2k) it turns itself back on right after the screen goes black. I shut it down again and it turns off. In other words I always have to shut down twice to get it to turn off. ...And no, I'm not hitting 're-start'.

Wow. I cant say ive encountered this (except with some really fukt up mobos). Are there any funky power settings in the BIOS? (try resetting?)

well... im gonna have to ask you a really stupid question: are you going to start->shutdown and then hitting enter? if so is restart highlighted? lol, with troublshooting you often have to look at the most obvious answer first
