Ive looked around and found the Asus A8N-SLi, which seems good and future proof, here is the link if anyone wants a look and tell me if it's a good choice?

Well not so much with a 7600GT in the box, but sure the X2 is the better choice for a play machine, if the money is there.

Its a nice board that I think you'll be happy with for the AMD route.

Cool. Has anyone got 2 of these cards in SLI mode, or does anyone know how they perform in SLI. With 512MB from the cards put together you should be able to get very good results. Right???

Running two mid end cards in multi GPU configuration isnt worth it, more often than not such configurations get outperformed by a single high end card. Besides, the memory is mirrored so you wont get twice the memory.

the HIS Hightech Radeon X850xt IceQ II is about the same price as the 7600GT and is quieter, more overclockable, and has 16 pixel pipelines...

Yeah, I would go with HIS X850XT even if it lacks SM3.0, 7600GT is still a nice card, can't go wrong about that.

Looked around for it and it seems to be a good card. £150 compared to £115 for the 7600GT though. I think ill stick with the 7600GT for now sice i play more strategy than action games and i think the GT will be enough, or will it?? If i need an extra boost ill just get another one to help with the load, thanks for all your suggestions though.
