Exclamation computer surveilance

I have Windows 98 and I believe there may be some sort of key logger or keystroke recorder software. I haven't found one in the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel but I know there are some that are undetectable. Is there a way I can make sure everything I type isn't being recorded? Thanks
