Default music editor

Hi there,

I'm trying to find a software that would let me take only one part of a song and save it in another music document. Doing this, I could get only the part of the song that I want. I have been searching for a simple tool like this but I don't know the exact word that would describe such an editor.

Does anyone know?

Thanks a lot!

Hey there. I think if you use Windows Movie Maker, then you should be able to edit the clip that you want. I know it's supposed to be a movie maker, but I have managed to edit parts of songs for my sister to have as ringtones. Hope it helps

Default Still...

Hey there,

I have found some of you guys' stuff quite great. But actually, I don't really need a DJ thing or I don't know.

I only need a music editor that would let you take part of a song and save that part in another music file.

Does anyone knows something very simple that could let me do this thing for a lot of songs and that it would not be too much complicated?

Thanks a lot!,

Even using the freeware Audacity, you can load up an entire song and just cut out the piece you want and save it as it's own new music clip. Then you can put it anywhere you want.
