Thats really odd then. Check to see if your Hard drive is the first boot device. it it is, maybe try and reinstall windows.

yes it is the first boot device, and whenever i boot from it, it says "NTLDR not found" >.<

Yuep, reinstall windows. You dont have to reformat of anything, just install windows but leave the other files intact. I believe there are 4 options
Format using NTSF
Format using NTSF(quick)
Format using Fat32
Resintall windows but leave other files intact.

If you need further clarification, or how to install windows, let me know.

if i reinstall windows with other files intact, i wont have to reinstall all the software i already had correct?

That is correct. It just reinstalls system files, so you wont notice any difference.

I also read on another forum that you can just copy the NTLDR file from the installation CD into the root folder of the boot drive, should I give that a shot frist before trying to reinstall windows?
