base-255 conversion

does anybody know of a program that can convert from base-2 all the way thru to base-255? i believe base-255 is the highest it could go due to limited amounts of characters. i have found a program that can convert thru base-36 using letters and numbers, but i want to go higher than that. preferably freeware, but shareware is ok too.

If you just want to convert from dec. to some other base, it's not THAT hard mathmatically.

unless you are both lazy and have a really big number to convert. oh and i want to convert from binary to base-255
