i use firefox and i have found that i cannot get rid of the google history, not the little search bar but the actual site, how can i d this as i have so many sites i just want to get rid of them? thanks!

If i understand you correctly.
In firefox goto: 1. Tools>options>privacy 2. Click the history tab 3. Click the "Clear browsing history now" button.

Exactly what it says in the description. Removes all history/junk. Although you can make firefox clear that on closing sometimes i find it a bit inconvenient.
