Firstly, no, most routers do not have an integrated modem, yours being no exception (I checked). Secondly, the magic of wifi is that you can have the wireless router all the way down in the basement with your modem, and still connect to the internet from your computer upstairs. I'm not quite sure what problem you are having, but all you need to do is buy a PCI WiFi card for your computer (about $50), plug your ADSL modem into your router, and you're good to go.
The reason you may've found my post little confusing is cos of my own misunderstanding about the fact that I'm on DSL Internet, however, I realised afterwards that my Internet connection is "cable" NOT the DSL.

So, what I want now is to have a ADSL connection (however, I wouldn't mind knowing the difference in the way DSL & ADSL Internet works). I'll get the PCI wireless card for my PC. I'm hoping to connect my wireless router with integrated modem in it (I'll need to buy it, since the current one has got NO modem in it) which I'm thinking to just place it BEHIND the sofa connected with my telephone socket, so no one would see it, while I'll be able to use it for BOTH my PC (once I buy the wireless card for it) & my laptop (which's already got the wireless card in it).
