I'm trying to set up a VNC server on my Linux box so that I can access my Linux box with my windows pc in my local network. I downloaded the software and started up the VNC server. When I tried to log on I got this error " Unable to connect to host: A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host. (10065)

All right now I'm getting a Connection refused (10061) error. Anyone who knows anything about setting up a VNC server please help.

There's 2 types of serve rit comes with, a user and service. I can only get it working when the server is the user one, so try that.

hover over the icon in the corner, it should say. Or close down the server then run the user server. It'll have it in the name.

I got it to work but I have to be log onto the Linux (VNC Server) locally. I want to be able to turn on the Linux computer and be able to log onto it from my Windows computer so that I don’t have to connect a monitor the Linux box.
