What to look for in an external HDD

I'm looking to purchase an external hard-drive for my new computer. It is an AMD and I'll be running WinXPpro. I am looking for a good one in a price range of $100 and under. Here is one I've been looking at:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822101012..Any thoughts? thanks
