Won't Download Drivers

Hey guys. A buddy of mine was downloading new drivers for his nVidia 7800GTX 256mb because STEAM and WoW kept giving him messages that said he needed to download the latest drivers.

While he was installing them it told him to delete his older drivers. He did this and tried to install the new drivers from nvidia.com but it said that it wasn't compatible with his video card! I don't understand! The drivers are made spcifically for his card but they arn't compatible with his hardware? The bad thing is is that he can't find is drivers that came in his GPU box so he is running on integrated graphics right now.

Please help! I have no clue what is going on. Thanks a ton guys!
