I have the max. on video card and memory on the current motherboard. I know i may have to upgrade other components like the power supply and cooling system. Chances are you can't. Unless you're willing to get a new case and PSU as well, because Dell literally welds their mobos to the case. Also the PSU is probably proprietary. But you could do that and keep the drives, RAM, and processor.

You could upgrade the gpu. Probably your best bet being that you can't upgrade mobo probably is to go agp if you have agp. Like the Nvidia 7600gs. Also, you can upgrade the sound to lets say a x-fi to get better fps in games.

It's a PCI slot. I read that AGP cards are being phased out. That's why i want to upgrade to a PCI EXPRESS. I put in the ATI radeon 9250, about 6 months ago, and added 512mb of memory. I didn't know that much about video cards at the time. I wouldn't have wasted the money on it, if i had known it was going be obsolete in 6 months.
