HP Laptop ZV6000 Backlight Questions

Hello There... I have question for my friend that I don't know what he exact trying to ask me something. Here the question he asked.

"Got an HP Laptop zv6000, and the screen backlight is not even, it has a bright streek in it that you can see when you have a solid color on the screen.

Do the HP Laptops use EL lighting or just a single light with a light guide on the bottom?"
