Default Pentium D Build

I plan on using the onboard sound for awhile. Speakers, mouse, keyboard, monitor already accounted for. I plan to OC the dual core Pentium. Computer will be used for gaming, music, dvds, internet, etc. Pretty much everything under the sun. Next year I will be an engineering student so I can imagine some intense applications. All products are straight from NEWEGG.COM.

Intel Pentium D 930 3.0Ghz
Epox 5LDA+GLi
2 X (2 X 512Mb) OCZ Gold DDR2 667 (2GB Total)
2 X WD 200GB (RAID 0)
Sapphire Radeon X1600XT 256MB GDDR3 PCIx16
Antec TruePower 550watt
Lite-On x16 DVD burner

Antec Sonata II Case
Windows XP Professional
Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Looks like a very good build. I have the Freezer 7 Pro and PD 930 and i must say, im rather impressed with it's performance, and that it has an idle temp of around 25C, and load temp of around 35C.

I will be an engineering student next year, so all related applications. Also gaming, dvds, music, internet, etc. Everything really. Just looking for a strong, cost efficient build to last me a while. How did I do?

Fine, I mean there is no doubt that AMD is better for gaming. But based on you username and other needs, I guess Intel looks the best.
