I personally use exactly what you use and think it is great, I would stick with what you have.

BitDefender 9 Professional Plus, or Internet Securiti. Or try Kaspersky stuff, it is great! Stay away from Windows firewall, because it is not soo great as some people say.

I use:
avast! Home Edition Ad-aware SE Windows Firewall and i will install those others if i need it, i'm not having any problem w/ my pc right now, maybe because, that some people go to pornsites and download sites that has a virus on it, and remember to turn your automatic updates on!!!!

I use Avast! personal edition (free, but great) and Zone Alarm Personsal (free).
Avast! does live memory (if you were installing a program and it tried to place a virus on your system, Avast! would alert you so you can delete the file before it damages your system. ZoneAlarm (for me) has blocked about 10,000 attempted attacks on my comp (at last count, but I haven't checked for ages) My setup works fine, and I've never seen the two conflict with each other. Oh, and another up to Avast! is that it will create a VRD (virus recovery database) which will generate a "snapshot" of your system and you can use that to recover files deleted of damaged my viruses.
