The 7600GT is a better all around card. I don't know much about SLI so it's hardfor me to say how much better it would actually be, but I'd proboably still go with a single GPU. Less heat, power, etc etc etc...
*edit* Duh, stupid me I forgot about that one Duel card tab ![]() http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....354&card2=385#

either way though, the 7900gt would be better in my opinion. two of those cards would be better in some games but the single card configuration also has its advantages. personally, i prefer having one card. you get what you pay for, its that simple. they had a problem awhile back and it was that two 6600gt's performed better in doom 3 than one more expensive card... and the two 6600gt's costed less! there was no reason to get the higher performance card, and they had to fix that quick. basically, they now charge the correct amount for each card when it comes to SLI. you may be able to get two cards to perform better than one card in SLI but you'll also end up paying more normally. btw i'd go with the single card configuration, 7900gt. its a very good card and it'll play all the games on high

Yea, the 7900GT by far. Remember, SLI only boosts your performance by about 30%, so i think its safe to say the 7900GT outperforms the 6800GSs by 30%

Less moving parts = Less broken parts. Two 6800GS, one brokes down = you´ll have only one 6800GS = poor performance and warranty exchange hassle begins and that other 6800GS may as well die and then you´l have two broken cards.. One 7900GT = only one gard can die. Single 7900GT is far better and is newer technology..

the cards wont break unless you crack them on purpose. SLI can actually slow some games down but only if it doesnt require a lot of graphics to be processed... in which case you'll maybe lower 10fps from 110 fps to 100fps lol... either way id get the single card preferably with 512mb if you can
