Will a video card using DDR3 work with a computer running DDR2?

Besides, the RAM types are totally different. It's actually GDDR3, which is many times faster than system RAM(even GDDR2 and the system's DDR2)

It's only called GDDR because people were getting video card and system memory confused with the introduction of DDR2. The "G" just stands for Graphics.
