Default what i need in a laptop

alright....i understand i have to talk about my budget for a laptop

i plan on spending around 1500, but barely more than that if i need too, but probably lower than 1500 if i should be ok

what ill use it for....

games such as World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 11, etc.
Itunes, around 1500 songs (listen to them while playing Fina Fantasy 11)
AIM
Microsoft Word, powerpoint, excell
And just searching the web

What do I need in a laptop to fit my needs?

At a budget of about $1,500 - I would definitely buy this Laptop.

It comes in at $1,399 and it used to be $1,660.

It will exceed all the needs that you described.

Brand new and direct from Amazon.

Plus it's from Sony, need I say more?

Thats nice, however it only has integrated video. And if he's going to be playing games he needs a dedicated video card. I would check out the Dell Inspiron E1505/E1705 line, which has Intel Core Duo processors and can have either an x1400 or 7900GS in it.
