Default Recovery disk question

Hi all,

When i got my Hp Pc last year i made me a System recovery disk from some software which allowed you to make a Sytem recovery disk,Which was great because when my computer goes slow i just do a system recovery and re-install all programs and its nice and fast again.

Although the System recovery disk instals everything that was on the pc when i purchased my pc such as Norton Antivirus & Norton Firewall.

I would like to know if theres some way of creating another Recovery disk so that next time i do a system recovery it wont install any software like norton with it?

Is there some way of removing them before i write the new recovery disk?

Uninstall any programs you don't want (in this case, Norton's) before you run the Recovery Disk maker program, if there's no way to pick and choose what goes on the disk. But then unless you have Norton's to reinstall separately afterward, you would not be able to RE-install them when you used the Recovery Disk!
