But they don't have it at the shop nearby. Plus it costs 444€ at Thomann and then I have to pay 20€ for the shipping. And it seems like it's exactly like the GNX3.

try it out and see if you like it, if you do then go for it. the line 6 pod xt live is also a good effects board.

Acid Rain isn't Dream Theater material. It's from Liquid Tension Experiment, a side project put together by Mike Portnoy, John Petrucci, Tony Levin and Jordan Rudess.

And the GNX3 seems to be cheaper in the store nearby than in the US. How about that. And it's got good reviews.

Maybe I should buy a new guitar later and get an effects processor instead, hmm...

I have the ZOOM 505II pedal... They have released a 24-bit pedal now though, it's black, and stuff.. lol

I practise alot of the time, and I'm getting pretty good considering I have only been playing 4 years (compared to alot of people at my school).

I've been playing guitar for 9 years now, you forgot Slash... "November Rain" is a classic shreddding song. I'm a Satriani fan myself, "Surfing with The Alien", can't top that.

I'm between choosing a Zoom GFX-1 and a Digitech GNX3. They both have good reviews but the GNX3 has a lot more features compared to the GFX-1. Plus, I've heard not so good things about Zoom products.

And SAAER45, somehow November Rain doesn't sound like a shredding song to me.

Your kidding, Slash does some excellent shredding towards the end!
