Default Dual monitor with KVM Switch

Hi guys,

Currently I have two computer systems, one running winxp and one running fedora linux. What I want to do is to run the system with winxp with dual monitor and the one with linux to run with one monitor. Is it possible to use a 2 port kvm switch to run that the vga cable from the kvm switch to the linux machine and one to winxp machine and one the machine with winxp, have another vga cable running straight to the second monitor?

Thomas

That should work, but when you switch using the KVM switch, one of the monitors is going to keep the Windows XP display unless you turn it off.

That's fine, that's what I was hoping it would do. Thanks for your help
